SEO Articles

Search engine optimization is how you get your online content found by your would-be readers. Knowing which keywords, formats, and other such details to include can mean the difference from people finding your site easily, or fading away into the deep and bottomless chasm of oblivion. No pressure, right? All of the articles I’ve written are created with an emphasis on SEO best practices. These include internal and external links, proper use of headings and word count, and even using tools like Surfer SEO to ensure optimum findability.

Health

I’ve had the pleasure of writing for a personal medical record company called PocketHealth, which has been incredibly educational. I’ve written about numerous medical subjects such as various cancers, genetic disorders, pregnancy, and chronic health conditions. I’ve strived to use only the most up-to-date, scientific, and trustworthy sources available, as accuracy in this industry is paramount. No AI research here, I do it all the old-fashioned way! While my name is not officially listed on the articles, if a PocketHealth article was written after June 2024, it was very likely written by me.

Fitness

Here’s an article I did about the 5 things that drive your personal trainer crazy. Fun fact. I am a personal trainer with my own microscopic side hustle. Still, that side hustle has been going since 2012. I’m triple certified with the American Council on Exercise (ACE) and keep up with continuing education requirements. I know fitness-y things. Like, a lot.

Pop Culture

I love it when I get to write about all things geeky. Video games, movies, horror, it’s all just a blast. If you need any pop-culture based content for your site, I’ve got you. Here’s a link to several articles I had the pleasure of writing for Strangely Awesome Games. My favorite? Getting to rank the Indiana Jones movies from worst to best. My favorite is Last Crusade. Hands down.

Eco-Conservation

I had the pleasure of writing several articles for Lomi, a high-end indoor composter that helps reduce the emission of CO2 from food waste. I learned a ton and it was really eye opening. Here’s an article I did about how to keep pests out of your compost.

Technology

Perhaps my most prolific genre so far, tech runs the gamut of being super simple (like how to collect iron nuggets in Animal Crossing) to super complicated. Like, I don’t want to bore you, complicated. I consider myself fortunate to have been given the chance to delve into an industry that wasn’t my original forte. I ended up learning sooooo much, and I learn more everyday. My favorite part is taking challenging content and turning it into an article that anyone can understand. B2B and SaaS (Business-to-business and software as a service)

Writing for the B2B and SaaS industries requires a lot of marketing knowledge to best communicate to your target audience. They need to know how your product or service applies to them, specifically. I’ve had the opportunity to do some work in this sector and it has been the most challenging and also rewarding copywriting I’ve done. I absolutely love it.

Here is a case study and also a white paper that I was able to do for the inventory software company, Erplain. Working with them was truly a pleasure and gave me an invaluable educational experience.
